Delta Cabinet Company Inc is a locally, family-owned and operated small business that has been in Delta, CO for more than 30 years. We manufacture custom cabinets and countertops in house and also offer several lines of custom and semi-custom cabinets made by well- known, quality cabinet brands from around the country.

Delta Cabinet Company Inc builds cabinets for all-size projects – from the smallest residential jobs to large commercial projects. In addition to our custom cabinets, we also have four lines of semi-custom cabinets to help meet all the budget needs of our clients. These lines help keep us competitive with the big box stores and lumberyards. We also manufacture quality laminate and solid surface countertops in the house.

Our Process

  1. Showroom Consultation: We ask that any client that is looking for cabinets or countertops, come to our showroom first. You will meet with one of our designers and start the process of choosing colors, styles, etc. If you have photos or floor plans, please bring those along so we can get an idea of the scope of your project and how we can best direct you based on your budget and style choices.
  2. Site Measure: If you were not able to provide us with the floor plans or measurements during the initial showroom consultation, we will then schedule an in-home/on-site measure to be sure that we have the correct measurements to begin our design and pricing process. Most remodeling projects will require an on-site measure while new construction can be priced based on the plans provided by your builder/architect. Once design and pricing have been accepted then a final measurement will be done before placing the order.
  3. Design Review: After meeting with the designer, a design review appointment will need to be scheduled about 7-10 days later. We will ask that you come back to the showroom to go over the quote and designs with your designer. She will provide you with a written quote and also 3D drawings/perspectives at that time. The 3D computer drawings will help you visualize your design choices and if any changes are needed, they can be discussed at that time. Please note that we will not release any floor plans or elevation drawings until a down payment or design fee is paid.
  4. Finalize Order: Once you’ve met with the designer and agreed on the design and price, we will set up the final measure (if it had not already been done). We have a simple contract to sign as an agreement to proceed with the work as outlined, samples will be verified and we will collect the down payment to get your order started. Countertops are a 50% deposit and cabinet orders require a 65% deposit.
  5. Order time and Installation: Once you’ve placed the order, your designer will place the orders for the cabinets and/or countertops with our manufacturing partners. Most cabinets are a 5-6 week lead time to receive. Your designer will notify you of all lead times when you meet to place the order. We have in-house and subcontractor installation teams available to professionally install your cabinets and countertops. It is not required to use our installers, but we highly recommend it to ensure they are installed and adjusted correctly. Once the cabinets are delivered to you, we will collect the balance of the amount due. And your dream kitchen is now ready to show off to family and friends!
